EFL web
Within the EFL website, there is a relatively small but easy-to-navigate
ELT jobs site. There is information on current vacancies around the world,
for which job seekers can apply via email.

ESL Career
This site lists ELT jobs predominantly in the Pacific rim. It accepts CVs
for inclusion on its database, and these can be automatically forwarded to
the institution advertising a job when you apply online.

The TEFL Job Centre
This job site is part of Digital Education Network’s website. It offers a
summary list of jobs available, a ‘featured’ jobs list, and a list by
country. It also has a ‘job seekers’ forum where ELT professionals can
swap advice and experiences. A number of ELT organizations’ websites jobs
pages (such as IATEFL’s and BIELT’s) refer the user on to this site.

TEFL.net Jobs
This site offers lists of current vacancies, with their date of listing in
categories of ‘Europe’, ‘Asia’, and ‘Worldwide’. It also offers a facility
whereby job seekers can advertise their availability for work on the site
and give details of their qualifications, experience, area preference, and

TEFL Professional Network
This site contains information on job vacancies around the world, and a
facility where job seekers can advertise their availability and experience
which can be used automatically when applying for a new vacancy. It also
has a direct-to-desktop weekly magazine (ELT Job Source) containing
hundreds of vacancies, as well as country guides and a worldwide salaries
guide, and the site offers an email facility (JobPrompt) where information
about the latest jobs is posted to the job seeker’s email address.

TES Jobs
This web site, an electronic off-shoot of the Times Educational
Supplement, contains a searchable database of current teaching vacancies
across all disciplines. For ELT jobs in the UK and abroad, type in the
keyword ‘EFL’ or ‘ELT’, and select ‘all’ in the other categories. There is
also a browsing facility for jobs in different areas of teaching, and an
‘email alert service’ when new jobs are advertised on the site that match
your search criteria.
